Rod screens sit below the pump to intercept sand, scale, and formation debris before it reaches the barrel and valves. By keeping solids out, they extend pump run life and cut the frequency of costly workovers — especially in sandy or unconsolidated formations.

Slot widths are tuned to match your produced solids so filtration stays effective without restricting flow. Two standard sizes cover most rod-pump applications; every screen is pressure tested before it ships.
